Mother On this day I will to let you know All of the ways your beauty glows You always have given me the strength to go on The sound of your voice echo's An uplifting song You bring a light to my soul On the darkest of nights And erase the tears of the past to make the present bright Your strength is like an anchor and my life the sea Your guidance is like a compass that navigates me If ever there is a day when the sun is not shining With every cloud you are my silver lining Your emerald green eyes are translucent to me So much love for all the world to see The way you reach out and the words you say Guide me on this journey, because of you I am okay This world can be a scary place But you made for me a world that is safe So many time I let you down When you where busy picking me up off the ground As each day shines with you in the Sun The moon lights my night because you are my the One The One who gave me the gift of life and living, loving, believing, seeing forgiving My Enchanted beginnings Jodie Williams Sunday 7th May 2023
