Most Beautiful Day -Qd

If it were my most beautiful day, I would be free of “older age” pain. Youthful I’d be, with hair free of grey, knowing some dreams I still could attain. I’d be at a dance; music would play. Locked in that moment, I would remain. With a beautiful soul I would sway, dancing and dancing the night away. He’d be my king and I’d be his queen. Sept. 27, 2019 for Charles Messina's Queen Of Day 9 X 9 Poetry Contest

There's a contest that calls for Verse and the definition of Verse only confused me so I clicked over to my 'teacher' for study. You have 32 pages of poetry, my friend - wow, never checked the total number before. This is lovely; lines that resonant with me and others I wanted to dance with! Lovely. Didn't pick up on any beat though but don't trust myself so I will delightedly go read another Verse by you. Love ... CayCay

This was beautiful Andrea. Just loved the flow and rhymes of this. Never too old to dance, even if it's not the way you used to. Now, go get your hubby on the dance floor (lol). Congratulations on your 3rd place win.. Hugs Charlie

Time does pass and we have no choice about getting older... But, we do have the hope of heaven and I know it will be much better than youth could have possibly been. Bless you sweet Andrea

Youth flew by quickly. One can never forget early romances - they are indelibly inscribed within the soul. Nice write! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

You are not old enough yet to see the beauty in grey hair nor admire the "crow feet" earned from years of laughter, so get up and dance! Plenty of time left to worry about aches and pains! Aloha! Rico
