Moorside Memories

MOORSIDE MEMORIES The years pass by but the memories are the same now as just then, from racing down the ski slope on perspex to stoning the buses, these were mental teenage days of mischief. local pubs provided a welcome release form the speed of life, getting pissed and going playing our music loud, unending song. friends came and went like water under the bridge, some I miss, some I hate. now the backfield, once a green area is now full of houses, no more beer fuelled bonfires there, the 80s are gone, not forgotten. Now a new life at the other side of town, months turn into years, people are left behind, it can’t be 1986 forever, yet I’ll never let it go, a basis for right now.
