Moonlit nights

She sat there on her terrace, a moonlit breezy night it was There was silence all around, gazing at the moon she sat there as if the whole world was at pause He came there and sat right next to her, with a charming smile on his face She looked into his eyes like always Caressing her hair, he asked her "How was your day?" Nodding her head, on his shoulder her head she lay Looking at the sky they just sat there Just then her friend entered, "Why are you here alone. I have been looking for you everywhere" She looked next to her and he was gone again It had been a year since she lost him, but not a single day she cried of that pain Because he had said, I will live in your smile, will come to meet you at our favourite place every night" Hence she sat there every night And in the calmness of those deep nights, two loving souls would reunite
