I think monks find much joy from their silence and accepting what is for what it is...we should all aspire to have some monk-like traits. Well said!

We can go about our daily lives as does a monk ~ awake to the recognition that we are soul or Self, that is, living light, dwelling in this temporary body-mind. Thus, in but not of the world, we embrace and release each offered moment without desire or aversion.
