I queued to view it some years back at The Louvre in Paris and was surprised at the painting's small size and the fact that it wasn't painted on canvas but on wood. Interestingly Da Vinci used warmer colours around her chest area and colder colours for the distant landscape behind her. I read that somewhere. :) Her smile is as mystic as your poem and your name. :) Nice one! Cheers - Gary

ah, that is one of the most beautiful compliments I ever heard, I love art and artists, although I am a writer, I have a son who is amazing in art, and I always admire someone who can do amazing brushstrokes, thankyou for your comment and time dear Gary, God bless you :) best I can do for a smile emoticon, no comparison to Mona here.
