Momma Dearest

Momma told me there would be days like this
Then she would hug me and give me a big kiss
She always made everything seem much better
All it ever took was her warm hug and a big kiss

I miss my momma so very much today
I need a warm hug and big kiss from her
My world has been upside down for days 
I would give anything for her hug and a big kiss

I feel that some of the poem was written in a child sense but the second verse was mainly written from the adult viewpoint! And I understand that we all need and desire our mother's love through a kiss and a hug!! What a great write Carol! Incredible job!!
