Moment of Celebration
O-pen your birth with light,
R-ise of the beacon has begun;
L-et twenty-second December
A-im to bring cheer and fun.
N-ew dawn has just broken,
D-usk and twilight pass from view;
O-bliterate the dark shadows, letting the sky become blue.
L-et Wednesday disappear,
A-s Thursday meets the morn;
C-oal black clouds turn white
B-ecause of the day you were born.
A-llow not the rain to fall,
I-t's a wonderful occasion;
N-ever let the chill remain in the moment of celebration.
