I need a gift. Mother's Day, a rose is a rose... a dozen long-stemmed? No, a bush she can enjoy all summer long on her patio?

The bush of course, can't remember ever giving my mom anything but something she could plant later. Thanks for the comment and congrats.

thanks, Eve, glad for the 7 and the positive response. Most mothers would be happy to get either; but I'm a gardener so bring on the bush for me.

thanks, Jan, somehow I thought that would be your choice. I've never received long-stemmed roses. My sons have given me live plants for twenty or so years now. They are all over the yard.
