Lipogram
A lipogram is a composition from which the writer systematically omits a certain letter or certain letters of the alphabet.
While thunder rolls over the scene,
molten lightning strikes tinder trees.
Plummeting drops drown out ground fires,
but set by cinders, the tree's crown.
Suety skies ink ebony clouds,
while thunder rolls over the scene.
Terrified of such summer storms,
critters flee the smell of burnt flesh.
Sudden gusts, fueled by hot spots,
lift plumes of burning embers high.
While thunder rolls over the scene,
lightning tries to ignite the sky.
Breezes force fire's smokey demise
when the wind shifts upon itself.
For most forest fires fizzle out
while thunder rolls over the scene.
