M'Lady's Course
A vessel freed from foggy moorings
With lines so fine as these
Should lift her sail
And tack and weave
And waltz in rhythmic ease
Shed off those slimy weeds of green
And freely sail life’s seas
Then sing of sun and swinging palms
And long hot Summer Breeze
Come on in the water’s fine
Alone or not
divine
(Worknotes)
The lady bleeds in powered prose
(With lines so fine as these)
(I've done line drawings and lofted them too)
and scraped many a bottom clean
The joy of coursing down wind
Is close to flying in moonlight
Divine is a verb
hence verbal advice
