Missy, My Immortal Friend
A year has past & my heart aches for my young friend.
I was your mentor & I couldn't stop your suicidal end.
Missy, you're always in my thoughts & in my prayers.
I wish I would have sensed the depths of your despair.
My own misery blinded me from seeing a friend's grief.
You've always had a positive message for everyone else.
Seeing the potential in others & letting no one see it in yourself.
I will never forget you,no matter how old & crazy I get.
I who sense your angelic heart throughout the internet.
You've engraved your love & your memory into my soul.
Your passing made me rethink my prime goal.
The darkness in my soul & grief hides the light I'm unwilling to show.
I wonder how many lifetimes it to for you to learn what you know?
You're my guardian angel. My immortal friend.
I wonder how many lifetimes it will take to see you again?
