Missing You

I miss you Like the sun embracing the surface of the ocean Reflecting your princely face Surrounded by a surreal mist In my dreams I ask the clouds to extend their wispy fingertips To touch your rich russet skin To gaze upon you in wonder secretly To see your glorious arms outstretched to the sky From this moment then and there To breathe is to inhale in the scent of you The rousing feeling within my veins Embracing my life The memories keep me safe Sheltered from the cruel spurns that diminish my will Dancing from moments of time that were the happiest days of my life Your saccharine lips, part away the darkened curtains from this place And I am revived Live for me Like I live my life for you I miss you
