Misery
As thy shadows cast gloom over my eyes,
I feel my heart pounding faster inside,
Telling myself I can't live by these lies,
Wondering if the times shall change this tide.
Searching for an answer I lie and wait,
Aware only of thy pain that remains,
Leaving my heart and soul to their own fate,
I turn to you for comfort till this wanes.
In hopes my soul wont be forever lost
As the shadows grow darker and darker
Realizing now the line has been crossed
Only making my heart even weaker
Knowing this pain is unable to mend
Misery I will suffer till the end
