Mischievous Month

February, that small scamp Greeted us with warmth and cheer, Tricking us into belief Spring is premature this year. February whistled and Winter answered to his call. Arctic winds from frozen north Caused the mercury to fall. Some were tricked to early prune, Taking February's dare. If prized plants succumb to freeze, February doesn't care. Spring is much to wise to trust February's flirt and tease. She'll delay her entrance for March's warm and trusted breeze.
