Mischief

I can feel it creep
through the night, for that's its game -
to keep me from sleep.
Insomnia is to blame;
Mischief is its other name!

I did a traditional tanka using syllable count 5/7/5/7/7
 but changed the rule to include a rhyme scheme of ababb

oh good maybe there is hope for me then! I seem to do ok on just 5 or 6 hours sleep a day.
