Mirrored Souls
Me to you, reversely, you to me —
a reflection of the mind, heart and soul
as mirrored on the glassy expressions of our identities
that we both try to find and conceal.
With each word streamed out of consciousness
and into the ocean of our thoughts,
a revelation of natural connection took form.
Even in the moments of stillness
there is an understanding unparalleled.
The meeting of minds in the silence
which speaks volumes rippled from two masses bound.
Together, we’re held by the gravity and depth
of the inner understandings. And yet,
moved by the current where true connection lies.
