mirrored memory

sentimental a word that evokes
a feeling from a memory
a memory of
 a certain place
 a certain time 
        
a time that brings a smile 
                           or a frown

but the questions remains unanswered
That drifting sands forever change-
and he present becomes the futures past

remaining
                 self of ego

so the mirrored image
follows  the hypnotised
       framed view
and the brightness of the light
          shows the way

ignorance is bliss they say 

denial keeps the blind
                    blind
and the only light seen
  is the mirrored image
                 
but when the mirror shatters
It shards cut
             deep

the wounds
bled blood of misconception
falling in droplets of a false fantasy

the illusions of grandeur falls silent
to the flying sparks of reason
from the blazing fire of denial 

the fire
              burns bright
