Mirrored Glass

You smile at me, and you see that I gently smile back I long to touch your hand and to hold it for all eternity But there lies a wall between us A glass wall which you can never penetrate Because you do not even know it exists And even if you did, you would never know how to get to me I smile at you, and you easily smile back I wish you could feel this suffering I feel inside of me I wish you could save me from this perpetual hell But you can’t You can’t rescue me from this prison of mine Because … I cry, and you simply smile back
