Mine Eyes Have Seen
mine eyes have seen
the widow of a songster
bring red hot food on the high table
on a golden platter issues for food
roasted terror initiates claim justice
the jury in darkness sit and nod their heads
as the impelling allegory walk out of the bag
with open hands she begs for the audience
and then declare her announcement
in heaven's name do not be bitter
but be please bigger than they are
go about gently
do not forget the forgotten people
for they too were created in the column
as spunky males and females
then with humanly power were rendered powerless
therefore then
break the earthly theatrical taboos
expose hypocrisy and deceit
