Mind-Set of Humanity

The Liar is like a snake Inspecting, moving, hissing Bitter with guilt Like a sinner in the shadows. The widow sheds tears, Over loss of affection. Outspoken with desolation When letting go. A solitary heart The color of desperation's darkness It's flicker vanishing The spirit gives up all optimism. Compassion veiled, Hatred above all. Yet no light To guide us safely home.
