Milestones

I passed my driving test when I was seventeen, then I could vote at eighteen, didn't know what it would mean; my first blow-job was a cause for celebration, but when I was limp, turned out to be a deflation. Fashion lured me to a pair of pointed shoes, making love was okay, I had nothing left to lose, although I had to wear a raincoat as everyone should, commendable behavior was surely worthy of a 'knighthood.' When I got married, I gave my freedom right away, but when in love, you're still thinking of a roll in the hay, the children kept me young, told me not to be 'yesterday,' I was playing more games than I could buy on e-bay. Tell us 'the facts of life,' suddenly came from Dan and his brother, I said that I think it's best if you speak to your mother.

Metre fine, content - emlightening. Not sure whether to cry or laugh. Your language is raw, in some ways so is your emotion. But, that's how it goes these days when it comes to ironic truth! Plus, can't help adding that your finishing couplet shows the lad has grown wise!
