Shimmering stars through barren trees – I see far as the eye can see! For clouds are in and snuggled tight, reveling in this midnight sky. Others join, as one by one, each darkened house awaits the sun; they slumber as the night doth play and prosper ‘til the light of day. The cool, crisp air abates my woes; and for a moment (though my nose is froze!), my heavy heart is warm and certain Love’s finest backdrop is a dark blue curtain. *~*~*~*~*~*

Just beautiful, Hello. May I call you Hello? I love your use of rhyme and humor. Your visual setting brings me into your feelings. Kev, but "you can call me Al."

Gorgeous night done up so well, I feel all it needs is a Christmas bow. Not even that. It's perfect.

A cheerful dance of rhythmic verses, HT --your words flow brilliantly in this happy poem--excellent tone to celebrate midnight sky.

This was beautiful my friend. Reminds me of the song, "Some enchanted evening". Love the image and how the poem brings it all to life. You know, if you cup your hands over your mouth and nose and breathe into them, you will unfreeze that nose in nose time..no time. : )
