Midnight Delight, a Reverse

MIDNIGHT DELIGHT, A REVERSE The night when it started to wary And you don’t care to return home Or when you arrive early No sweet music But all remorse of bad luck in our lives Daily chores have become daily sermon No more love and caresses But purely insulting words Touching has become a misdemeanor And loving turned sour and hurting Just to make amends, forgiveness is a sin Prospect of life’s dream is broken dream The more we try the more this feeling a syndrome Of bad luck and anarchy!

Welcome to your new home here on the soup. I think it is an important object lesson to visit things from the other view! Or in reverse.. This is a teachable poem! Congrats on your recent win in the Crystal Ball contest. Kick up your feet and stay a while. Mix and mingle and talk to some poets who you might not normally read from. We even have rhymers on here who write for rap music! Enjoy! Gwendolen

Yes, Reverse FOR SURE. Is it for a contest, Dallila? It's an interesting one to read. Did you ever hear the song Afternoon Delight? It may have been before your time. Oh, about the church contest. I think it might still be going on if you want to try it!! LUv, Andrea
