as we rest in your bosom
we slowly realize – your fight for us
searching for natural resources
finding dry – given up – life once lived
sensations felt in all the five elements
residing within me
to live without you is to
live without my existence
mia madre terra
taking you for granted
betraying you
molesting you
despite of all the gifts you have
given to us – yet
you keep giving us
when you roar
we pause
rispetta il clima
we don’t stop
we pause
we take time to learn
we are changing
for the better – many of us
many of us – not changing
as the glaciers melt
my side suffers the exploitation – need climate justice
mia madre terra
you’re the sweetest embrace
earthing with you
rejuvenates me
caresses me
I feel whole hugging you
I have to find you
In every tree
A high price fee
rispetta il clima
lands taken away
building – tearing – ripping
just taking – giving back less
very less – forgive those who
are still blind – they do not
know the essence of every season
each season is our life to grow
old to go – new to flow
mia madre terra
as days go by
your worth is acknowledged
how beautiful you are for all of us
we are healthy because of you
the seasonal changes remind us
about the change we caused
forgive us – we appreciate you
in everyway
rispetta il clima
the sunflower breeze
the honey buzz
cherry blossom fragrance
herbs growing – coffee brewing
we all need you – bow to you
time to reprogramme our goals – sustain
protect – something new we create
so we enjoy the joy of climate flow
