Metaphorically Broken

I woke up early this morning
With heartache by my side
My pillow stained with memories
From the teardrops that I cried

I drank me a cup of loneliness
As I read the morning sorrow
I put on all my hopes and dreams
And threw away tomorrow

I take my pain for its morning walk
As the sun begins to die
The sky above seems to understand
And the clouds begin to cry

I fix a bowl of emptiness
As I sit beside my fears
I taste my heart's broken smile
As it rises in my tears

My days are all but over now
So I count each one with care
Life to me is already dead
It's just an empty stare

I like it, verry well expressed when Loved ones hurt it it makes us feel like part of us has died, I felt like I was dead inside not too long back but that last glimmer the Lord grabbed and shwed me his Love is the only true Love, trust God and God alone and you wont go far wrong. God bless from diane
