Metaphorically
I
I Slip-
into a dreamy dream-
and I am falling
into a greenforest
lost in a sea of trees
they are sobeautiful
the drums of time cease
clouds sail in the
sky
oh my life is weather-stained-sad
I imagine
myself a tree g r a c e f u l
lost in a
sea of beautifultrees swaying
my roots are deep in the ground
my
branches
reach
up
to the sun
shining through the forest
at night
the sky
is blackasink
a riverflows like a stream
lost
in
a
sea of trees
II
I am tranquil
and serene and
the wind
is whistling
through my
weeping leaves
like violins
echoing
tears like rain
falling f a l l i n g
in autumn and
I give up mysorrow
all the colourful pain dances
away
III
and I stand bare
I wear a gown
white
and I sleep mybranchesfrozen
in the spring I awaken
to put on my gownofgreen
emerald green
and I raise my branches high
and I am strength and I am courage
in
this
dreamy
dream of mine veiled
