Line of inquiry:
blessings from above
transformed lust to love
delusion to illumination
earth-heaven bilocation

When darkness consumes my lost mind,
I turn to blessings from the blind.
To escape ego's flame of lust,
tones of zen my soul yearns to find.

Before my heart fades into rust,
I turn to spirits I can trust.
Fake guides try to lead me astray,
but I burn their words into dust.

In my delusions, demons play,
begging for me to let them stay.
I close my eyes and seek the light.
Angels appear to show the way.

In serene peace my soul takes flight,
entranced, my mind now feels delight.
Spanning spheres of stars and the moon,
astral visions kindle so bright.

As my breaths begin to fine tune,
heart sparkles like twilight at noon.
Sacred sighs sway from the wreckage,
in rebirth, I leave this cocoon.

It's a constant battle of right and wrong, good and bad, light and darkness. You have written this so well Dear Silent. The reinforcement of things that want to slander us, slow and minimise our light and stars. A decision to pick right. To follow the narrow path because it may bring more truth and life. " In my delusions, demons play, begging for me to let them stay. I close my eyes and seek the light." That's the difference. Many people do not close their eyes to get light. They smile and -

Offer them a sit, maybe a bed and definitely a drink. And the demons live forever, not just as delusions but realistically they come forth and become a part of their lives. So we play a major role in who we want to be. We make the decision. We decide to go with the flow or fight it. To be disciplined or to join the games. We are our greatest problems or favourite ally. Congratulations on your great win.

"In serene peace my soul takes flight, entranced, my mind now feels delight. Spanning spheres of stars and the moon, astral visions kindle so bright." When we are free from the clutches of ego and illusory desires, our mind will embrace serenity and peace. Then the soul takes flight. We levitate into a world of enchanting astral configurations. A beautiful poem. Congratulations dear Silent One on your top win.

' I close my eyes and seek the light, my mind now feels delight. ' That's the way it should be. A feeling of peace. Your thoughts are deep, dark and filled with hope, all at the same time. I really like the last four words. ' I leave this cocoon. ' An amazing transformation, indeed. My best to you, Silent One. Hugs, Brandy

"In serene peace my soul takes flight, entranced, my mind now feels delight." Beautiful imagery, Si; love it. No darkness in God's creation...only ourselves keeping out the light.

A rubaiyat so well written for the line of enquiry! Im not surprised but in awe of how youv delivered this and how your rhymes are so catchy! I love “tones of zen” clever phrase! “ Fake guides try to lead me astray,“ we are surrounded by so many of those fakery! But at the end of the day, a strong mind and soul can fight it all and rise to where they belong. And I believe you are on aren’t you silent one: “ Spanning spheres of stars and the moon, astral visions kindle so bright.” love the alliterations, so stunning! “ As my breaths begin to fine tune, heart sparkles like twilight at noon.” such a brilliant way of not showing transformation and ones bilocation … the last line!! Is everything! Just amazing my dear friend! Best wishes

Cool beans big guy. Glad the holy angels scared those bad demons away. Pesky buggers. My fave stanza the penultimate one. Good stuff
