Messages
Through the pelting freezing rain, a black crow cawed from a tree
I wondered what it was saying or if it was speaking to me
On fragile winter branches it sat, looking at everything below
While I walked across the frozen land and loud crunching snow
Language is translated with messages in so many different ways
A message can be gently left in lasting memories where it stays
Sometimes, we know the meaning and other times, not
As we try to communicate, to reach what others sought
