I'm a buoyant traveler of seas.
My cocooned message is to whom it may concern
A fisherman threw me in, and I'm lost; drifting aimlessly.
I'm riding on the crest of a wave not knowing if or when
I'll wash ashore. I don't know or care if I'll ever be found.
I sincerely hope I inspire whoever does in some way

I always wanted to put a message in a bottle and send it out to sea just to see if and where it would be found... to find one would be even better and I have always looked when walking the beach! Nice penning, enjoyed this one :) hugs

Thanks for the lovely visit, Sandy:-) Glad you enjoyed it. My chances of ever finding one are infinitesimal to nil...I don't live near a beach!:-(

I have always been intrigued by a message in a bottle. If I were to go far out to sea, I would want to put a message in a bottle and hope it would be found before I died. I enjoyed your poem Edward. It has a romanticism about it that sparks the imagination! xxoo

Thanks, Connie!:-) Glad you appreciated my poem. I'll put throwing a message in a bottle into the sea in my bucket list! I sadly missed my chance to do that when I visited Virginia Beach two years ago!
