Menopause

Casting over her face A red patch of life displaced Change is a thing we should grace A run to the washroom to cool my face Fire rose beneath my feet Those anxious moments, rush calm to my retreat And yes I will bare these womanly pains And it will help remind me from where I came No regrets need follow behind For this time in my life I will unwind This poem was written for any women entering the Change!

I got a chuckle out of this one. For all things there is a season. I enjoyed your positive view. Thank you for your contribution to "Tidbits." I concluded the poem if you would like to check out the finished piece. Let me know if you see anything that may need correcting. Keep on writing! Karen

Well, you sure accept the change quite gracefully. Sure wish I had your wonderful attitude. My mood swings seem to be the most difficult to deal with. Good for you dear Laura! Love, Shar

Hello Laura, this was just so beautifully done. You had a woman's feeling well in here. The images really had me fully in. I can now, imagine this....Take care. Love, Chitra
