Menopause
Casting over her face
A red patch of life displaced
Change is a thing we should grace
A run to the washroom to cool my face
Fire rose beneath my feet
Those anxious moments, rush calm to my retreat
And yes I will bare these womanly pains
And it will help remind me from where I came
No regrets need follow behind
For this time in my life I will unwind
This poem was written for any women entering the Change!
