Melting Snow Turn Into Gentle Streams

Logs burning and crackling kept me warm indoor while snowflakes fell on the frozen weeping willows; did winter stars gleam on them to increase their splendor and make me dream of dandelions growing on back roads? Melting snow turn into gentle streams that emit a bubbling sound, four months of Arctic weather didn't allow you to flow freely; hummingbirds will return to their empty nests and harmony will be heard until the blazing sunset fades from sad eyes, not mind. Christmas's decorations still hang on the crested fireplace, the cheerfulness that it brought still echoes in this house; there was laughter everywhere, but children sat by the dotted windows being amazed by the falling snow as the playful cat tickled their elbows. March is mild and there's hope that the melting snow will turn into gentle streams; imagine flowers blooming on sunny meadows and green leaves sprouting on trees!
