Melted Tears

I walked along, a path of ice formed by frozen tears Packed hard from days gone by The sadness of so many years The landscape was desolate No color had survived I was held by it's sadness since the moment I arrived I looked to the heavens fell down to my Knees Please thaw out my Heart It's starting to freeze Erupting from The Holy Spirit Warm tears began to fall Covering the teared pathway it melted them all The ground softened The tears all soaked in New colors erupted Love brought on spring Flowers and life tears not in vain Hearts that are healed Can love once again Dedicated to: Russell Sivey, inspired by his poem Frozen Tears
