I walked into a meadow Such beauty did I see Turns out it's been here All this time Revealed so gently I walked into a meadow Tamed in part Yet mostly wild I skipped among the flowers Felt the freedom of a child I walked into a meadow Shared the warmth Of her caress The sunlight of her radiance A view designed to bless I walked into that meadow Without purpose Soon to learn A heart can hold more love inside Than out can ever earn

Dear Sam, this is a real beauty! Such a delightful, tranquil read with perfect flow and narration. It’s a captivating read as you gently draw the reader into the meadow too. Love the sense of freedom, happiness, sudden found wonder with the beauty and warmth of Mother Nature tenderly wrapping her arms around you. I also love the last stanza, the significance of ‘that’ meadow and all its offered and given to you. What was learned from being there with an appreciative, open heart that inwardly,

I love this Sam. Such a tender love poem, filled with the splendor of nature and the love of a man for a woman. Its truly beautiful. I went back and read it a second time. It flows perfectly.

Thank you SV for stopping by x I think it is a love poem deep down. There is also a reflection of those moments of peace we find in nature as often we can find them in people, maybe unexpectedly. A kind of welcoming embrace from a kindred soul also looking for their meadow.. blessings to you :))

This is so beautiful dear sam, sometimes we dont know what is around us, simply we seem oblivious to the beauty and light around us at times and sometimes, just living in the moment, and embracing little things can be joyful, this poem i think fits for seekers contest, in a very deep manner. A heart definitely can hold so much more than one even can imagine.. i love the flow of this and how you’ve delivered it! Its definitely one of my faves from you. So soulful
