Me Time

I wish I could wet a line Even find the time To drink a couple cold ones Man it'd be so fine Seems like every single day It's just work and then back home Not a second to take a deep breath Yet I still feel all alone I need some me time In this life It's hectic every day They say that's just life When the weight of the world Lays heavy on your mind Make sure to try and find A little me time I miss my old friends And the days when I worried about the now Instead of back then I know those days are gone But man they were so fine Every second of every single day Was all just me time I need some me time In this life It's hectic every day They say that's just life When the weight of the world Lays heavy on your mind Make sure to try and find A little me time I know some me time Would help me rewind And reflect on all the blessings I have in this life Please don't get me wrong I'm grateful for what is mine I just need to take a step back Enjoy a little me time You know time is of the absent Most days within this life But just a little me time Can set it back right Get you some me time
