May Job blessings be yours
Job was exceedingly blessed by God
Blessings that could not escape
The envy of the satanic one
Cause anything close to God receives attacks
God watched over him constantly
He gave him light as he walked through darkness
God made him extraordinarily prosperous
And God’s friendship protected his home
Day and night he was surrounded by his children
His cows and goats gave plenty milk
While his olive-trees grew in the rockiest soil
In the meetings of elders he took his proper place
And on arrival young men stepped aside for him
While old men stood up to show him respect
Simultaneously leaders of the people would stop talking
Even the most important men kept silent
Everyone who heard or saw him
Praised him for all his achievements
To the poor who cried out to him
He helped them
To the hopeless orphans he gave succour
Men in deepest misery praised him
And he helped widows find security
Job was eyes for the blind
And feet for the lame
And was like father to the poor
And took the side of strangers in trouble
As he destroyed the power of cruel men
And rescued their victims
He expected to live a long life
And die at home in comfort
He was like a tree whose roots always had water
And whose branches were wet with dew
He was always praised by Everyone
And his strength never failed him
Whenever he gave advice
People listened attentively
And when he was done
No one had nothing to add
His words sank like drops of rain
And were always received
Just as farmers welcomed rain in spring
His cheerful smile restored confidence and hope
As he took charge and made decisions
Leading his people
As a king leads his troops
Giving them comfort in their despair
