May Flowers -Anacreontic Verse 3

Anacreontic verse 3 the sun was shining, hair looked good dress was pristine heart was light. friends wedding day, red roses perfume filled the church. time for the photos, forced smile in place. all was going well until I felt rain, don't worry just a shower, some bright spark said. a clap of thunder filled the air, the heavens opened. we were all soaked drowned rats came to mind, then a cheery voice declared that saying, April showers bring forth may flowers. not sure who hit him could have been the bride I am sure the bouquet looked askew. one more picture all looking drenched best one in album penned March 30. 2016
