May Five Friday Morning
M-ay five Friday morning
E-liminates the night;
L-ight above the horizon sets your birthday aright.
P-ouring rain disappears,
A-s the sun comes up anew;
N-ew dawn has broken,
G-etting out of the blue.
A-n early Friday morning
N-ever leaves fifth of May;
I-t warms the summer breeze,
B-ringing mirth to the gray.
A-llow your life to receive the Lord Almighty's blessing;
N-ever ignore God's graces, May five Friday morning.
