Sweet Sarah got ready to bake A sticky rich dark ginger cake Her flour was appaulin’ - vile weevils were crawlin’ to use it would be a mistake! Those weevils could make her cake sour So Sarah gets rid of that flour She emits a cus Then hops on a bus… She’s baking in less than an hour For Barry with my love 08/20/20

lol Andrea, it happened to me years ago too I now keep my flour in a sealed box:-) Am making a tea loaf today can't wait to try it the fruit has been soaking in tea for about 16 hrs now:-) hugs jan xx

She certainly used her loaf Jan, reminds me of sailors in Nelsons time, they used to be given biscuits that they ate in the dark because they were full of weevils, yuck. Tom

eww it gets worse and worse lol, I recall getting weevils in a bag of flour I'd not used in a while ... now I keep my flour in a sealed box :-) hugs Jan xx
