Mary and Joseph

***


  M--Mary, a virgin, found favor with the Lord.
  A--Among all women, blessed you are.
  R--Rejoice! Mary, you will have a son.
  Y--You will call him Jesus, as He was foretold.

  A--Angel, Gabriel sent by God to Galilee.
  N--Notifying the people that a Savior is on the way,
  D--David's Kingdom, I will give him to reign.

  J--Joseph, son of David, a carpenter by trade,
  O--One night, an angel appeared in a dream.
  S--Said, "Fear not, take Mary for your wife."
  E--Embrace her, the child is of the Holy Ghost.
  P--Placed in a lowly manger Mary's first son.
  H--He was called Jesus as He will save the world.
