Marigolds

Moon sparks float above the
meadow of golden blooms,
mimicking marmalade
mists of healing, and the
magical muse of a
mellow field, adorned with
mosaic hues of hope.

IE, I have to love anything adorned with hope! That means a lot. You've created a pretty picture and thinking about it is healing in and of itself. Smiles, of course.

Nice use of form, you do adapt to different forms so well.. I can see you take your time and do lots of research.. A marigold is a lovely flower when in full bloom, but its the season of death, so most flowers have died or are dying right now.... I like you choices of the letter M, worlds like mimicking marmalade and mosaic hues, create vivid imagery in your poem.. Best of luck in the contest you really are the empress of weaving words...

ohhh, colorful palette of wordscape makes this ditty a marvelous piece, ink... golden blooms, marmalade, mellow field, mosaic hues entrance! I did maples too but yours is a topper...white light sent!

Dearest Inky, marvelous, magical, mystical "mosaic" of "moon sparks!" "Mimicking marmalade!" What a wonderful line of marigolds in the moonlight! I love the setting of the meadow in the moonlight! So creative. You truly bring out the magic of this little flower in your many wonderfully crafted alliterations that flow like water in a stream. Best wishes for the contest.
