I regret that I missed this contest, John. You nailed the essence, to be sure. I have found them, along with bumble bees and dragon flies to be the most striking and astounding of God'[s creations in the insect world. They are at once awesome construction and they inspire healthy fear and respect. But you can NEVER forget seeing one, which I think is the defining line. Best to you always, Gerard.

I just posted a new blog with our vacation photos from Hawaii and the Jersey seashore if u want a little taste of island magic tonight.. we took hundreds of photos which I will post in bunches every few days... to see them all.. this is only our Hawaii trip... the seashore we also hae lots of photos .. these little cell phones really are fun.. luv.
