I can see the mantees thru your words. Majestically floating. This is a lovely haiku. I tend to struggle with this form, but you got it just right. And thanks so much for your comment on my poem, the vintage jacket

You make the scene sound so peaceful in this uplifting write, Dane Ann. Never before gave much thought to what it would be like to watch manatees give birth. Now those would be some big, proud mama mammals! Great haiku! Love you, Carolyn
