The Man of the Mountain was a landmark in the New Hampshire state An amazing sight to see, what looked like a face on the mountain cliff Visitors would come from all over the place , lucky ones didn't wait To see this creation, that looked out at all the scenic views around Then in 2003, it suddenly fell off and could no longer be seen as it was People mourned such a loss of this beautiful place without a sound Heidi Sands 2/7/20

The essence of your photo, well reflected in your words. Such a loss it is to all-- but especially those who love nature in all forms. And I know you are a true nature lover, Heidi.

You are right, it was such a loss. I did paint a painting of it a while back and kept it. Thank you for your comment and understanding. Have a nice evening :)

That is so sad that it fell. We had a formation down here known as Balanced Rock that had been here forever till one day it also fell.
