Man In the Maze
In the meadow where dreams begin, there is a maze,
I've been trying to figure it out, all my days.
Someone I met there, offered to guide me,
I rejected boldly. I said "I'm doing this lonely."
Still, the man lifted me up, to show where I was going,
I looked in the distance, and it was brightly glowing.
I asked the man, if he knew how to get there,
He nodded, then smiled, and vanished in thin air.
I cried out to him. His knowledge is perfected.
And I wondered to myself, why I rejected.
Still I keep going, getting more and more confused,
I promise next time I see him, I won't refuse.
I tell you my friend, if you ever meet this man,
He will take you where you're going. He's the only one who can.
