Man
Yes I know.
I've nothing left to show.
Time has passed and it hasn't been kind
Been around the corner to see what I could find.
No place feels like it is my home.
Maybe why I still feel the need to roam.
Over the mountains withstood the cold,
A time or two I may have been too bold.
Here I am on the verge of being old.
Still , feeling strong .
For my road is still long .
Time , it is now yesterdays memories turning into dust,
My heart is starting to rust,
Hard to find someone you can trust.
Everything seems to be passing by,
Like the moon slipping across the sky.
Day always turns to night.
Who would of thought I'd still be in the fight.
Was so used to being in this world alone.
Lost to the images in my phone.
Yes I know ,
Yes I know.
Time keeps me there standing in my self made pain.
Standing here in the rain.
Thinking on the time that's come and gone
And the times I should of stayed but moved on.
Left me here heart starting to rust,
Wondering is there anyone I can really trust.
Except my still beating heart.
There lies where any man can truly start
