Mama Said Don' T Touch the Stove

Mama said, “Don’t Touch the Stove” Mama said, “Don’t touch the stove. You can’t cook your way on an old stove. Touch what you like, but not the stove It will burn. Love's withdrawal’s not pretty. painful like a burn that keeps hurting long after the initial injury. You didn't know it was that deep. Why did you try to cook anyhow? Triple dependence on all that’s free soothing the psyche of the storm, with a daily, slow debugging. Return to your hopelessness, Baby. Don’t cook or even think of cooking again. 2/20/18
