Each life is filled with expectations, desires, and hopes,
Sometimes our planning put us on life’s slippery slopes.
Seldom does our best made plans align with God’s best,
for what we desire most often, are not at God’s behest.
Sometimes insecurity, selfishness, or pride in our doing,
becomes evident in the path we’re bent on pursuing.
God, changes our hearts and gives us Godly success,
and as all becomes clearer, He continues our lives to bless.
If choosing just one thing to help keep us on track,
It’s focusing on what God’s blessed us with, not our lack.
