Near a grove …just ahead of me This dreamlike figure stood, With velvet, ribbon-tinted wands And gown of crimson hue-- She was the very spirit of That gentle forest view: But was I somehow part of this? Yes, she had been there -- That maiden fey with a bronze crown And garlands in her hair. The child in me on springtime eve-- Knew that woodland fairies hide Only from those who don't believe. Dear Nette: Your fey spirit is so true in this. Like nature reveals itself to us when we really look . Thanks for always inspiring me. Fairy hugs, SuZ

Hi Nette, my daughter is having a small Halloween party and has been making and buying decorations for over a month now. Your beautiful imaginative poem has put me in the mood. (She wants me to dress up as Gandalf The Grey from the Hobbit. So I've grown my hair and beard out, but when I look in the mirror I see the Abominable Snow Man from Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, LOL.) I think, I may be standing beside you in that grove, help me believe.

A gorgeous little glimpse, Nette. Sounds like a pleasant dream. Indeed, it's wonderous to imagine our tinkering friends who make the woods their home. Congratulations on your worthy Win!!
